Hamburg (DPA) - nästa album av framgångsrika tyska bandet Tokio Hotel kommer att nästa vår. Deras manager David Jost berättade det. Den tredje album förväntas komma i mars eller april, då kommer albumet att publeceras - och världen samtidigt. Tokio Hotel håller på turné i USA. Galan kommer att hållas i Liverpool, England den 6:e november. Självklart kommer vi att kunna se galan på tv, på kanal MTV.
Klockan 20.00 kommer det att börja med rödamattan, där kändisarna kommer. Och galan börjar klockan 21.00 och den slutar runt 23.00-00.00.
Och till er som inte har tillgång till MTV just då, kommer det att vara massvis med repriser, ca 5 ggr/vecka.
Jag vet inte vilka repris tiderna är till 100% men såhär är det nog.

Tokio hotel fick inte bara den tungan, vid Los Premios MTV LatinoAmericanos 2008, för ”Bästa låt” (Monsoon), deras fans van priset för bästa fan klubb.
Något som inte borde förvåna någon, deras fans stannade hela natten vid Guadelajaras flygplats, väntade på sina unga tyska idoler.
”Helt säkert, det här händer just för att vi har de bästa fansen i värden och vi är så glad för att vi har fans i så många länder, som här i mexico”, sa bandets vokalist.
Tom, å andra sidan, sa att en av hans stora önskningar är att få komma tillbaks till Mexico, för att åter få vara bland fansen som varken åt eller gick på toa, bara väntade på dem, för att deras sena ankomst gjorde en del fans lite lesdna.
En sak som överraskade Tyskarna och även Mexicanerna var att all fanatism inte skrämde dem, något de har bekräftat.
”Nej, det skrämmer inte oss och det förvånar oss inte (hur mycket beundra det finns för dem i landet) vi är väldigt glada över att ha många fans, och lite extra glada över att ha många här i Mexico, det är något väldigt imponerande” sa Bill, ” Första gången vi var här, gav vi 10 000 autografer och det var helt otroligt att det fans så många fans här.”
Men det var inte bara fantasterna enbart som fick de matt komma hit, har killarna erkänt, de ville värkligen se några av sina favorti band på Auditorio Telmex's scen.
”Gustav är verkligen ett stort Metallica fan, så han ville se dem” sa Bill, med ett stort leende och all den make up som fått massor av mexicansa unga flickor att falla för honom, flickor som så gärna ville se en konsert med dem.
” Nästa år, då kommer vi tillbaks, nu håller vi på att spela in ett nytt album och vi hr inga datum ännu, men någon gång under nästa år kan vi komma tillbaks hit” avslutar han.

Tokio Hotel bidrar till projektet mot smittande HIV!
MTV Latinamerika och Hard Rock international tillkänna gav idag via Los Premios MTV ett välgörenhets projekt.Intiativet är unikt på så sätt att det för samman de mest talangfulla artisterna vid Los Premios MTV Latinoamerica 2008 gala, för att donera berömda minnes saker till Hard Rock Internationals samling.
Som mot prestation ger Hard Rock en donation på 30 000 USD till MTVs Staying Alive fond, en icke profiterande organisation som delar ut stipendier till unga värden över som arbetar med att förebygga HIV. Los Permios MTVLA 2008 gick av stapeln torsdagen den 16;e oktober i Guadalajara i Mexiko.
Från Katy Perrys och Julieta Venegas klänningar till Tokio Hotel och Zoes cymbaler (något som jag inte vet vad det byder om Calle 13, Juanes och Belanovas kläder) har pengar dragits in genom minnes sakerna som donerats av artisterna som medverkade live vid Los Premios MTV LA 2008.
De som donerade var; Katy Perry, Belonova, Tokio Hotel, Julieta Venegas, Moderatto, Calle 13, Juanes, Ximena, Sariñana, Kudai, Zoe, Flavor Flav, Paramore, Tila Tequila, Dante, och bandet som vann MTVs the Zone; Moving on.

Tokio Hotel plans to treat their fans the first time by launching a new double DVD, titled "Tokio Hotel TV - Caugh On The Camera" and due on December 5 in France. The first disc, called "The History", sees the German group to review and comment on the last twelve months they have gone crazy. The first DVD actually contains all new images released by the singer Bill Kaulitz and his henchmen on Tokio Hotel TV on their official website, and includes several exclusive footage never broadcast, feature stories of four members of the German group.
The first disk proposed "Tokio Hotel TV - Caugh On The Camera", "The History," also offers a series of images and backstage Tokio Hotel in private, conducted in 2007 and 2008, throughout the journeys of the German group in Europe and the USA elsewhere. After the first puck, the second named "The Future" is as unique as it proposes to follow Tokio Hotel in the preparation of their new studio album, which will be released during 2009 to worldwide, including in France on Polydor. The second DVD presents the exclusive German group in privacy during their moments of relaxation between two trips promo and recording their third studio project. Each fan will discover the scenes of the preparation of the new studio album of the Leader Bill Kaulitz and his henchmen, the materialization of ideas in music, writing texts or recording of their original titles.

Bill: Oh, we are really looking forward for the whole event. Being there, seeing all the artists - I bet there will be a lot of great performances. Then our own performance and being nominated ... It's really a big thing for us and we're excited to be there.
How bad do you want to win the coveted Los Premios tongue award?
Tom: Winning an award is always great but for us it's really exciting just to be nominated. We've only been to Mexico once before. So, like Bill said, we are just excited to be there.
Any particular Latin artist you would like to collaborate with?
Tom: Well, there are a couple of great Latin artists and who knows, maybe someday we'll do a collaboration - but nothing is set yet.
Does anyone in the band know how to speak Spanish?
Bill: [Laughing] I know ‘Hola' and ‘Gracias'! But no, unfortunately none of us speak Spanish. You guys definitely need to teach us some when we come.

As German musicians, do you ever feel like your English tracks get lost in translation?
Bill: Our lyrics are really important to us and we really want everybody to understand them. So that was the reason why we as band decided to do an English album. We chose our favorite songs from the first and second German album and did a one-to-one translation. [Laughing] We got some help on that, cause obviously our English isn't too good. But the most important thing to us was that none of the meaning of each song got lost. That's why we decided on a one-to-one-translation.
What can fans expect from the band for the rest of 2008?
Bill: We will be busy with working "Scream" the album for the rest of the year. After Los Premios, we'll go over to the States and play a couple of shows and promote the album. In November we will be at the European Music Awards and I think we'll be busy until Christmas. Besides that we take every chance to go into the studio to work on our third German Album. So, there's lot left to do for us till the rest of 2008.
We are glad they are sharing the love! They forgot to mention the unveiling of Bill's figure at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Germany. Fans all over el mundo are melting for a touch of our flaco! ¿Quieres más Tokio Hotel? Keep it locked for Los Premios TONIGHT at 9pm on MTV Tr3s!

Mag: How do you feel knowing that your music is already heard in Latin America?
Tom: Once we dreamed with international fame, but we didn't think this was going to happen. In our country we were known, but crossing frontiersrs is not surprising, it is weird. For example we have never been to Mexico or Latin America however or songs are listened there. This gives us satisfaction.
Mag: All the fans want to know if you have a girlfriend? How is your ideal girl?
Tom: No I don't have a girlfriend nor i have an ideal woman. I couldn't choose how i prefer girls blond, brunette or redhaired, the true is there are alot of pretty girls everywhere.
Bill: I don't go out with anyone either, but i believe in love at first sight. When you fall in love, you don't notice what characteristics she should have, but on what you feel.
Mag: in this profession it is easier to conquer(get girls)?
Tom: Of course music helps. In school, musicians always have a lot of success. That is why since I was a little boy I wanted to play the guitar! (laughter), No seriously I never had problems to get girls nor I have needed the helping hand of fame to get closer to someone.
Bill: For me music has helped me, I had my first girlfriend when I started singing. But in this career there is a little bit of time for a formal relationship
Mag:Lets see boys, Your favorite singer or actor is?
Tom: I die for Jessica Alba she is my favorite
Bill: Nena marked my life, the German singer; Through TV I watched one of her concerts and it encouraged me. I was very little, just after that I began to write my first songs, I had the idea that someday I could be in a stage.
Mag: Be sincere, Have you ever tried to get the same girl?
Tom: I had a girlfriend and when we broke up I tried to convince her to give my brother his first kiss. I wanted him to have that experience because up to that moment Bill had not had a girlfriend. It was a love gesture towards him.
Mag: what do you want to transmit with your look?
Tom: We never tried to create a false image. It is part of our personality, this is who we are and this is how we feel. If you see our pictures before forming this group, the true is there is not big change
Mag: If you had a girlfriend would get a tattoo with her name?
Tom: Yes if it is about a "walking" (I dun get the joke), No I don't think it is worth it (laugh); but if it was something serious .....Neither! No, I am not a big fan of tattoos.
Bill: I love tattoos! and if I was in love for real, then why not? I think I would do it.
Mag: What do you feel when your fans go crazy for you ?
Bill: We are proud of having followers that support us and are always up to date with our concerts, they sing our songs, fill us with energy and motivate us to keep going.
Mag: Tell the truth, are you loyal?
Tom: When you are in love it is fundamental to be loyal and receive the same treatment back.
Bill: For me loyalty is very important. Plus, if I am in love I don't feel like accepting other "offers". With me you don't have to worry about not being loyal, I believe a lot in loyalty and I practice it, but in the last couple of years I haven't had a girlfriend.

Jag vet att dom hatar det här... men jag kan inte låta bli.
Buzzworthy om Rickrolling och TH-fans!
Move over ye few remaining aggro Jonas Brothers fans. The latest crop of Internet trolls taking on Tokio Hotel fans are... Rick Astley fans. Yes. For. Reals.
The 42-year-old British pop singer, best known for his 1987 cheeseball soul-pop hit "Never Gonna Give You Up" - and, indirectly, for the obnox act of Rickrolling (which, again, I insist would be way more fun if it were RickRossRollin) - is up for a 2008 MTV Europe Award in the same category as Tokio Hotel. Yes. For. Reals.
Along with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Green Day, and U2, Rick Astley and Tokio Hotel are nominated for the Best Act Ever award. That's no small kartoffeln for a band as young as Tokio Hotel. And it's proof that Rick Astley fans, who got him nominated by an open write-in process (even the Ricker himself didn't see the nomination coming) truly can't give up on the Conan O'Brien lookalike. Or the dream. Or the meme. That, or, they just want to know what the simultaneous heartbreak of millions of Tokio Hotel fans sounds like if underdog Astley does in fact pull through. (And sorry, but Britney REALLY deserves it too. Epic comeback, y'all!)
And there's actually a chance that Rick Astley could take it - allegedly his fans have been voting en masse and bombing Tokio Hotel message boards with spam and porn (how woode!), causing some Tokio site admins to temporarily suspend their forums, which is like taking food away from a puppy!
Even if Rick Astley does win, and despite the fact that he's sold in the ballpark of 40 million records over the course of his career, it's safe to say he's not exactly the next Bill Kaulitz or anything, as suggested by the obviously doctored photo above.
Anyway, Rick Astley fans, you kids play nice with Tokio Hotel fans! And may the best man, men, or women win when the EMAs air Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008 in Liverpool.

Bill is a character that polarizes. There are those who love him and can't stop to screaming if they're close to him and there are those who hate him and stigmatize him. One can argue for or against, but there's no denying that the boy has talent. His style, his charisma and the way he appears on stage are the factors that have caused the success of Tokio Hotel. He has a big skill to handle with publicity. But if sometimes seems to be a nice and innocent guy, he can also be hard head when it comes to imposing his will. Bill Kaulitz borned the September 1, 1989 in Leipzig in East Germany. When his parents divorced, he went to live with his mother and his twin brother to Magdeburg. Although he getting good grades, the school didn't like him. As they were going to a school in a neighboring village they had been lifted at 5.30 every day and returning home at night. He always knew that he wanted to be a musician. His girlfriends often don't understand him when he preferred to go to the rehearsal room to play with your group or give concerts, instead of going out with them. But even then he knew that he must work hard to succeed. Already in the school he dressed in a very provocative way. His style of today is not an effect of an idea of his record or his representative. He's authentic. From childhood he liked the bizarre clothes. Bill had his first piercing at 13. The idea came to his look at a party for Halloween, the night of witches, when he dressed of vampire. The outfit liked so much that he decided to adapt it to his daily live.
Which is the main inspiration for your songs?
Bill: Our world, which affects to us and to our friends, the histories that people tell us
and are especially emotional to us.
And what touch you?
Bill: Any and all, there's not anything in particular, are situations in the
time and make you feel different things. There's when you want to write it.
It's said that you are lonely ..
Bill: Always was, it's no much people who knows me well. I'm like I have to
be at every moment.
What attracts you of a girl?
Bill: Depends of the girl. Not all the women call my attention with the same details.
There are girls and girls.
And the girls that more draw your attention?
Bill: Those who don't care who I am.
Regarding your brother Tom, it's true that the twins have a special connection?
Bill: Totally. The connection between Tom and me is very strong and special. Despite that we seem wearing, in the way we speak and our tastes in many important points we think the same and we take the same decisions. With just look us we know what think or what will say the other. Is very special.
There's no rivalry between you?
Bill: Each plays a role and complement us. Since always
we've supported us, it would be strange to see us compete.
Even for girls?
Bill: (Laughs) Not even for girls. We have our code of loyalty.
What do you do in your free time?
Bill: We hardly have free time, fewer and fewer, but whenever we can we take some vacations to relax, although we continue making music .. Most important thing is sleep, sleep a lot, and sometimes, we also go out to party.
You are ready for so fame? How you cope it?

Finally, a new album in February!

Now Bill, Tom Georg and Gustav have more plans, In February 2009 a new album will appear. The boys are thinking about new ideas. Even a duet with Miley Cyrus is being a topic of their discussions. With her Tokio Hotel are willing to sing at the awards and make a short video clip. Background: With the song the boys hope to get in to the USA single-charts. For fans good things will come earlier. In November a new TH DVD will appear. Bill: "A cool documentary of our 1000-hotels Europe tour. Everyone will see us backstage and completely without make-up". "Tom didn't occur we had won an award, he checked Britney's breasts the entire time", Bill.

Men då och då börjar, Bill (19), Tom (19), Gustav (20) och Georg (21) tänka på tiden efter denna hype. Så här mycket är tydligt för dom: Ett liv utan sitt band, ingen av dom kan tänka sig det. "Tokio Hotel är vårat liv", säger Bill. "Skulle detta vara slutet för bandet, kommer en del av oss dö. Jag kan inte tänka mig något annat", säger han. Och Tom tillägger: "Vi lever inte i en drömbubbla, och vet att ibland kommer andra människor i samma diagram att fortsätta framöver. Det är klart för oss." Har pojkarna känslan för en krasch? Dålig uppning
Som ni sækert mærkt så har uppningen varit ganska katastrofal under de senaste dagarna. I onsdags hade jag ridningoch kom hem jættesent. På torsdagen var jag och två kompisar i gøteborg før att gøra ett skolarbete och igår åkte jag till pappa i Norge så jag satt på tåget vældigt længe. Så det hær ær min ursækter.

The new album
Hit Muse Mag has published a new article about TH's new album.
"The waiting will maybe seem unbearable for the fans, but their patience will be rewarded; the new Tokio Hotel album, which was supposed to be released in November, will release in the beginning of 2009. But according to the band's manager, "it will be a very rock CD". Happily!
Contrary to what they announced during summer, the next Tokio Hotel album is not going to be released before the holidays, but between January and March 2009. It's the band's manager, David Jost, who recently announced it. It would seem that the CD, which started to be recorded after the band's most recent and glorious american tour, is very inspired but also very rock. At least, that's what the talented quartet's mentor explained: "The sound is tougher than the one in the precedent albums, Bill has had ideas for new songs for a few months, he passes all his free time on writing lyrics." So we reasonably have to expect for the new album to be a masterpiece..."

Tokio Hotel have no time for alla the award-prizes

Four boys that just want some peace: Tokio Hotel. Essentially Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg should be working on there third album like crazy.
There focus is now constantly interrupted because of another awardshow.
Tokio hotel can't seem to break out of the celebration of awards. After the Echo, Goldener Kamera and four comet awards Bill and Tom Kaulitz (both18), Gustav Schafer (20) and Georg Listing (21) won a MTV Video Music Award for "Best Newcomer" at the beginning of September 2008 in los Angeles.
After this triumph in America the four boys wanted to lock themselves away in the studio in Hamburg to finally produce there third album. The record company is pressuring a lot - the record has to be released at the same time all over the world ( something that only happens with megastars like Madonna or the Rolling Stones).
But it won't go like that: The four Magdeburgers are now nominated for the MTV Latin Awards (on 16 October in Mexico) and also the MTV Europe Music Awards (on 6 November in Liverpool). Lots of stress on the program.
"It gives us trouble keeping up with that time planning for the third album", tells manager David Jost to Express. With every awardshow ( and Universal expects the four boys to be there) the boys are torn away from the studio and that even when every day now counts.
The Tokio Hotel fans expect some fresh and new "TH-material" for there ears.

Så killar, är ni glada att vara hemma efter eran Amerika turne?
Bill: Ja, vi är väldigt glada över att vara hemma och med våran familj.. Vi gillade verkligen att spendera all den tiden i Usa, men vi började verkligen ha svårigheter med landet. En månad ombord är en lång tid..
Tom: För mig, jag erkänner att det inte skulle störa mig att stanna lite längre. Jag älskar Usa. Först, i talan om kläder, det är verkligen härligt med det där. Jag köpte tonvis med kläder och flera par sneakers som du inte kan hitta i Europa. Och sen, jag känner mig väldigt bekväm i stora städer som New York och Los Angeles. Jag trivdes verkligen där..
Era mål var att slå igenom stort i Usa. Har ni känslan av att ni har uppnåt det?
Tom: Uppriktigt sagt, så trodde ingen av oss att det skulle vara så många fans på våra konserter. Det har alltid varit slutsålt och publiken var lika galen där som i Europa. Jag tror att vi har fullborat vårat kontrakt. Uppdraget är fullborat på ett sätt. [skrattar]
Georg: Vi alla känner att vi har gjort något bra. Jag tror inte att
ett annat tyskt band fått så mycket respond i Usa som vi.
Under eran promo där, sålde ni bara 100.000 album, medans målet var att nå 500.000...
Bill: Du har rätt, trots våran ansträngning, har Scream inte riktigt toppat de amerikanska charts. Uppriktigt sagt, så vet jag inte vad orsaken är. Vi har gjort vårat bästa för att göra våran musik känd hos många, men den amerikanska marknaden är väldigt svår att nå för utlänska artister. Men, utan att vilja sjunga vår egna berömmelse, sälja 100.000 album är fortfarande enormt stor för ett tyskt band. Vi är inte besvikna över det här resultatet.
Tom: Vad vi har uppskattat allra mest var att vinna på MTV Video Music Awards som Best New Artist. Vi trodde inte att vi skulle vinna på grund av våran konkurrens: Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry or Taylor Swift, som är betydligt mer populära där än vi. Att få ta emot det priset var verkligen en chock. För att datera så var nog det här den bästa belöningen i våran karriär. Dessutom måste jag säga att jag uppskattade verkligen att se de förvirrade ansiktsuttrycket på Miley Cyrus när vinnarna, med andra ord oss, avslöjades. [skrattar]
Du verkar inte ha tagit henne till ditt hjärta..
Tom: Å andra sidan, är jag inte ett fan av vad hon gör + hon att hon inte har
det physkologiska kännetecknet i vad jag letar efter hos en tjej. Så, allting är sagt. [skrattar]
Bill: Tom pratar skit, som vanligt! Han är ett stort fan av "Hanna Montana",
jag har redan upptäckt honom titta på några avsnitt i hemlighet. [skrattar]
Tom: Vi kommer ordna upp det där ikväll. Hemligt..
Hur många gåner har ni blivit frågade vartifrån ni kom på erat bandnamn i Usa?
Bill: [skrattar] Jag vet inte. 250 gånger, lika många gånger som alla intervjuer vi har gett där..
Jag trodde att vi hade gått tillbaka tre år i tiden. Den totala skräcken.
Tom: "Hur kom ni till musik" är också en fråga som ofta blir frågad.. Självklart är det tråkigt att man behöver upprepa samma saker för den 1000:ande gången. Men såklart, det påminner oss att inte alla är menade att känna till oss. Det gör oss gott att börja om från början eller nästan... Vi har kommit ner lite från vårat lilla moln.
Georg: Yeah, men jag måste erkänna att det är irriterande. Jag trodde att amerikanska
journalister skulle ha lite bättre koll på subjektivet innan dom träffade oss. Men icke.
Om ni måste välja ett skattsligt framträdande från denna turne, vilket skulle det bli?
Bill: För min del, skulle det nog vara en av signeringarna som vi organiserade i en skivbutik. Det är alltid kul att få träffa våra fans och lyssna på deras berättelser. Dessa träffar har inspirerat mig väldigt mycket för nästa album.
Tom: Och för min del, jag minns speciellt tiderna när två fans lyckades att komma in på mitt hotellrum medans jag gjorde mig iordning för att sova. Jag har absolut ingen som helst ide hur dom lyckades att hitta oss.. Hur som helst, jag måste säga att det var verkligen en överraskning. Men jag kan inte berätta fortsättningen, den låter ger jag till er fantasi. [skrattar]
Låt oss prata om seriösa saker nu, er förberedelse för erat tredje album.
Tom: Vi är just nu påväg att gå in till studion. Onödigt att säga så är vi 100 % fokuerade på detta nya projekt. Det är därför ni inte kommer höra så mycket från och om oss dom närmaste månaderna.
Bill: Ja, vi är medvetna om att detta är det mest viktigaste steget i våran karriär. Pressen är enorm, men vi ska försöka att inte tänka på det så mycket. Vårat mål är att försäkra er om att detta album blir det bästa vi har spelat in.
Vad kan vi förvänta oss ljudmässigt?
Tom: Iden är att göra låtar som överraskar våra fans och visar ett ansikte av oss som dom antagligen inte känt till.
Vi vill inte spara på våra insatser och spela in en andra Zimmer 483. Iden är att ta mer risker.
Bill: Vi vill också att våra texter blir mer personliga. Det är förvisso jag som måste göra det.
Allting som jag har varit med om det senaste året har inspirerat mig och jag har fyllt flera block med texter...
Om det tredje albumet skulle bli sämre än dom förra, skulle det göra er oroliga?
Bill: Jag vet att det skulle vara en lättnad för vissa personer ifall vi misslyckades med nästa album. Framgången har inte bara attraherat sympatier för oss, långt från det.. Nu, bryr vi inte oss om det. Som jag sa, vi kommer göra det bästa möjliga albumet. Och ifall det blir mindre uppskattat än Schrei eller Zimmer 483, så är det inte hela världen...
Tom: Faktiskt så har inget band stannat på toppen föralltid, vi är medvetna om det. Men nu, våra karriärer är som en saga, det är nästan för bra för att vara sant. Vi kommer säkert vara med om nedgångar. Men vad som än händer, vi är så passionerade av musik så att vi kommer aldrig sluta göra det, det är säkert.

Trustworthy sources assure that there has been contact between Colombian businessmen and the German band, that won Best New Artist at the VMA's, to come and give a concert in our country (Colombia), the tour would be programmed for the first trimester of 2009, besides having a DVD of their live hits released in the next days.
Tokio Hotel (previously Devilish) it's a young German band with a pop rock style conformed by Bill Kaulitz (vocals), Tom Kaulitz (guitar), Georg Listing (bass) and Gustav Schäfer(drums).
The group was founded in 2001 by the name Devilish, although it was changed for Tokio Hotel when they signed a contract with Sony in 2003. The first album was finally edited in 2005, after signing a contract with Universal. This album sold various millions of copies just in Germany, and quickly gained fame in Austria, Switzerland and other European countries. With 9 platinum albums and 4 golden albums in Germany, they're the most successful band. Their first album Schrei and the second Zimmer 483 (released in 2007), have been put together in another album Scream, with the English version of their German songs, designed especially for the Anglo-Saxon public. In 2007 the band sold about 1 500 000 albums.

Tokio Hotel Worry Their English Isn't 'Cool' But Plan To Translate Next LP Anyway
Fresh from their VMA win, the boys headed back to Germany to work on Scream follow-up.
Tokio Hotel just won the Best New Artist VMA on the strength of their first English-language album, Scream, and their popularity in the U.S. continues to grow. But though they've been touring in the States and making plenty of public appearances in English all year, the four young Germans say the language barrier is still quite a challenge for them - one they plan to tackle again as they work on their next LP.
"You know it was really hard to do a set, or even to do interviews in English, because in Europe, we always had a translator with us," 19-year-old lead singer Bill Kaulitz said. "I think it's really hard for me ... to sing in English, because it's not my mother tongue. I really wanted it to sound natural [on the album], so it took some time in the studio, and we always wanted to do it this way: first in German, then translate everything into English. The English record is a part of us, and we really wanted to go ahead with that."
Bill explained the difficulties of properly translating German slang. "We translate, or we want to, everything," Kaulitz said. "Of course, our German phrases like, 'big cinema,' it's 'grosses Kino' in German. This red carpet is grosses Kino. It's like, 'beautiful,' 'awesome.' "
But TH are determined to keep on honing their linguistic skills for their follow-up LP. "First, we write German songs, and we translate some to English," guitarist Tom Kaulitz said. "We have always German records and English records. I think that's the best way."
Tom said he worries that because their grasp on the language is so unfamiliar, they come off sounding uncool, or "too grown-up."
"Our vocabulary is just school English, so we have no slang, no cool words," he lamented.
The guys aren't going to let the language barrier get them down as they head back to the studio. "After America, we directly go back to the studio in Germany, and we are still in the creative process of our next record," Bill said. "So we're writing songs, and we'll be recording some stuff. So we have a lot of work, and then we do the new record, yeah. No, we have no ideas [what we might call the album]."
"But it will be a great name and an amazing album," Tom added confidently.

Guy: How are you feeling here in Mexico?
Bill: We're very happy, we had a lot of fun onstage and we're just so happy to be here.
Guy: How did you get together as a band?
Tom: We met Georg and Gustav when we were 7 years old, we were together in various projects when we were younger, all of them had to do with music. Eight years ago we came together as a formal band.
Guy: How was your life as students in school?
Bill: It wasn't the best period of our lives, to be honest. Our grades weren't the best at all, they weren't bad but sometimes we got grounded because of them. Our time at school was never the best.
Guy: How do you see and feel all the mexican girls?
Tom: We are very happy to see all the girls, yesterday we saw around 5000 people at the autograph signing, that was great. Their welcome has been awesome.
Guy: In every group of friends there's always the slob, the leader, the one whose always late. Who are these people in the band?
Bill: Georg is always late.
Guy: Georg is saying that it isn't true...
Georg: I'm getting better in being on time.
Gustav: I'm the relaxed one.
Tom: I'm the sex symbol.
Guy: There are always embarrassing moments while you travel. Any moment you'd like to share?
Bill: We have a lot of embarrassing moments but what we always have are girls that sneak up to our hotel room, climbing two floors just to get to us from the outside.
Guy: We know you a little here in Mexico but we would like to know more. Why Tokio Hotel? You guys are from Germany.
Bill: We like big cities so we thought Tokio could be appropiate.
Guy: Well, Mexico City is a big city. You can name the band Mexico City Hotel
*everyone laugh*
Bill: And since traveling around the world was our dream, we chose the word hotel
Guy: What are your plans after Mexico?
Bill: We're flying to L.A. to continue the tour tonight and for the VMAs, we are nominated two times.
Guy: Thanks so much for coming. In two days is your b.day, what are you doing?
Tom: We don't know yet but it will surely be dirty!
*Then the guy starts talking about they make a concert for the station every year since 20 years ago and that they are honored to have TH*
Guy: Thanks again.

It is not all gold that glitters. Tokio Hotel is also annoyed of some sites of their celebrity life...
For three years, they are under constant observation. Whether on holiday on the Maldives, the stroll through Paris or in front of every hotel in the world. Wherever Bill (19), Tom (19), Gustav (20) and Georg (21) stay, paparazzi are not far, an photoflash-storm goes down to the guys. Not always to the delight of the four, as they betrayed BRAVO ...
BRAVO: What do you hate in your life as a star?
BILL: The positive outweighs the course. But I hate it, that we don't have any private stuff. And the badest thing are the paparazzi!
TOM: For us, it's important, to protect the life of our family and freinds. They have nothing to do with our job. If we are with them, it's bad for us, especially when paparazzi appear.
BILL: You have to be truly an evil man, to be a paparazzi. I hate them.
BRAVO: Thereby, you have luck here in Germany - here are paparazzi harmless ...
TOM: That's true. In other countries it's really harder. In France and America are the paparazzi the most glaring.
BRAVO: What is annoying you?
BILL: Sometimes, everything it too much for me. Then I lie in the bed and think: "I can't anymore!" Then I will simply not stand up, can't laugh for a shooting into the camera or inspire people. I feel as if someone have to help me. Because I totally lacking self-confidence and I simply want a break.
TOM: Sometimes I have homesickness.
GEORG: When I'm long on the road, I miss my family. And then, sometimes I get a bad mood.
BILL: I get oftener sich. And if I'm away from home, is this terrible. Then I'm missing Germany totally. I'm also sad, when I'm alone in the hotel room. As much as I love it, to be with the band on the road - in hotel rooms I'm really sentimental. I can't even say exactly why. But then I wish myself into my own bed. While Tom would never admit it, but I bet he is sometimes sad. At the latest, when his hotel room acquaintances are gone again.
TOM: I also miss often the german toilet paper. (laughs). If we are at the end of the world, we're really looking forward to coming home ...
BRAVO: You have to live with many scandals and rumors. How do you handle with it?
BILL: Mostly we know it before, what there will be. Sooner, when we had dinner at the club, we knew exactly what there will be at the next day in the newspaper: "Teenagers drink alcohol. How can they be a role model?!"
TOM: Or something like: "Tom sits alone at the table - separates the band?", is also very popular.
GUSTAV: Or: "Bill looks sad - does he have depressions?"
TOM: Everything, that people, who never know us personally, write about us, I don't really care. But if it's about our families, it's not okay.
BRAVO: There was the story about your grandfather, who allegedly shooted around...
BILL: The funny thing is, that this wasn't our grandfather. We even didn't knew this man ...
TOM: Just over 20,000 corners. But everbody says, that we're related with him.
BILL: Just like in school. There was then suddenly every girl with us together and each class mates were our best friends. And I should also owe all the people twenty euro ...
